Description: Durable and highest quality ESD mat set including cables, wrist strap and grounding cord have superior heat, chemical and wear resistance. Excellent performance is available thanks to best quality 2-layers material dedicated for the professional industrial usage. Features two layers rubber where the top layer is dissipative and the bottom layer is conductive.

Two layers, oil, grease and solvent resistant, high temp resistant, acid proof and knife cut proof material with excellent wear hardness.

ESD Rubber Mats have two layers: the top one is a blue static dissipative rubber layer laminated to a black conductive rubber bottom layer. Surface resistance of the top layer is 10^6 – 10^8 Ohms and bottom layer is 10^5 – 10^6 Ohms. This ESD Rubber material offers excellent resistance to oil, grease and most common solvent.

These ESD Rubber Mats are very light compared to single layer and three layer mats.

Several tests was done as follows:
Several oils, greases and different solvents resistance.
The ESD mat survived it without any damages.
The flare-up point. It seems to be higher than 1000C which is corresponding to almost 2000F.
(limited by temp sensors and thermometer)
The burning thru temperature.
The ESD mat survived 450C for 2mins which is corresponding to 850F.
The maximum of the temperature without any noticeable damage of the ESD mat top layer. It survived
comfortably 200C for 2mins which is corresponding to 400F.

Surface resistance measurement:
Measured in harmony with IEC 61000 standard we tested this ESD mat with 6cm probes distance.
Measured resistance of 12.1x10^6 Ohms which corresponding to better than 10^7 Ohms.
It seems to be perfect result as the datasheet is talking about the 10^6 to 10^8 Ohms range.

Finally the cutting durability test using standard knife and drilling the hole thru mat using drill proved very high resistance.

All these tests results are so great that we are sure that this new ESD mat will make great job for anybody. It can help to many engineers with ESD issue and safe soldering in the home lab property.
